Botox

Botox (Botulinum Toxin Treatment) is a safe and effective medical aesthetic procedure that temporarily reduces the activity of facial expression muscles, helping to soften wrinkles caused by repetitive facial movements. Botulinum toxin works by selectively blocking the nerve signals responsible for muscle contraction, thereby limiting muscle movement in the treated area.

With the aging process, years of repeated facial expressions lead to the formation of wrinkles, particularly on the forehead, between the eyebrows, around the eyes, and around the mouth. Botox treatment reduces excessive muscle activity in these areas, helping the skin appear smoother, more relaxed, and refreshed.

The procedure is performed by injecting the toxin directly into the targeted muscles and acts only in the treated areas. Its effects are temporary, gradually diminish over time, and the toxin is completely eliminated by the body.

The primary goal of Botox treatments is not to freeze facial expressions, but to achieve a more youthful, rested, and natural appearance while preserving natural facial movements. Expression lines that create a tired or angry look are softened, resulting in a more balanced and vibrant facial expression.

Botox is a versatile and effective treatment used for both aesthetic purposes and the management of various medical conditions. Since each individual’s facial structure and needs are different, treatments are planned using personalized techniques and dosage.
